Though never personally a fan of this NBA team, by and large their graphics have lacked over many years of branding iterations. While the NBA or any of its franchises has never been a personal client, this was an attempt to breath life into an old logo idea I initiated as a design major in school.

Typefaces include a slightly modified Kabel Bold, as well as a condensed Berthold Akzidenz Grotesk. The additional image indicates a (home) uniform design proposal inspired largely by the bold New York Nets (ABA) uniform design from the early-to-mid 1970s.

Client/Employer: (Personal design project)
Primary Software: Adobe Illustrator
Design Challenge: Revamping in a strictly digital realm a logo concept extending back to an undergraduate design course with the amazing John Evans, of Sibley/Peteet Design. On occasion there are ideas that weave their way through years never revisited that could otherwise have been buried by countless dozens of real-time projects.
